Default Align 450 or Blade 500?

Looking at one of the two for a 1st "Big Boy" heli (A.K.A. CP Heli).
These are both around the same pricepoint.
Which would you choose & Why? Thanks.

Default RE: Align 450 or Blade 500?

Having had an E-sky Honey Bee King 4 and having an Align T-rex 450 Sport kit waiting to be assembled I'd go with the Align. The parts for the Align are more robust and seem to be more readily available. When I had the HBK parts were frequently out of stock.

I have both a Align 450 and Blade 500. The 500 is stable and The 450 seems much faster but is very cheap to fix.The 500 3D BNF Basic is designed for intermediate to experienced heli pilots who want a big, powerful 3D machine. Both are great choices but i will go with Align 450 due to its quality of parts, are available easily, and also easy to fly .......

Have you looked at the Trex 500? That would be my choice. I have flown the 450 for years and also have a 500. I personally like the 500 size so much better. It is like flying a 450, but with more presence. 450 gets small fast. It used to be the saying that bigger is more stable, but isn't quite so true anymore. Going Flybarless can allow you to make a 450 very stable and easy to fly. After buying my 500, I wish I would've gone that route in the first place. It can be a bit more expensive when you crash, but I like the 500 size better. BTW, another benefit by going align is that parts availability is way more than Blade.
