Default Syma S031G Assembly

This is my first helicopter.

The upper and lower blades are loosely secured.
I thought they needed to be tightened.
I tightened them as much as I could without stripping the Phillips head screw and I can still move them easily with the rotor shaft held still.

Did I do something wrong?

Thanks for any help

You do not have to tighten hard. As the blades are rotating their centrifugal force keeps them in their proper position.

You are welcome.
It is the same principle as folding propellers on sailplanes.
