Post JR Ergo 60 Sport Assembly Help

Long story short, I'm currently assembling an old JR Ergo 60 Sport gas helicopter that has been in my father's closet since early 2000's. I have the majority of the heli assembled but I'm stuck on one part that seems to contradict the instructions and I'm not sure what I need to adjust.
I'm currently on
7-6 Control Level/Linkage Adjustment. This step stats that I need to have the Elevator and Aileron Servo mixing arms at the same angle as the mixing base arms. As shown in the image attached the whole assembly does not align as the instructions show even though I've followed the instructions to make sure all the linkages are at the correct measurements to the servos. The 7-6 step says I need to adjust the linkage marked (B) in the image to align. I do not see how adjusting this linkage can align the arms since the servo linkages are what control these angles. My guess is the instruction may be incorrect and they meant to say adjust the (A) rods to the servo instead.

I keep trying to upload photos but the forum says I need 10 post before I can post URL's. Can I get this waved so I can post the pictures of what my question is about?
