Default Tail fins for HoneyBee 3D ??

Why do some Honey Bee 3ds and simular Helis have tail fins and others don't ?. Should I add horizontal or vertical fins. What are the dimensions and where should they be mounted?
What are they supposed to do as it seems all nitro have them.
