Li-Po charger what should I get?
Hey guys,
I want to get a li-po charger that can charge other types of batteries as well. Money is not an issue for me as I want something that's scaleable. I don't want to buy another charge for few years down the road. I need something that's solid in performance and charges the battery fast.
Thanks for the help.

The fastest you're ever going to charge any LIPO is a little over 1 hour if it's fully depleted. Faster if it's still got some charge to it.
If all out quality and power scalability is your concern, something like the Schulze Orbit pro would do you. It does something like 30 nimh/nicd and 10 LIPO or something like that
It's expensive though, real expensive.
If you don't mind a smaller LIPO limit, the great planes triton seems pretty popular and offers quite a bit of bang for the buck.
Here's a decent list of higher quality chargers if future upgradeability is your intention.

I don't have any personal experience with any of those so I couldn't tell you. What you should get is what you think you'll need.
Where do you see your self a few years from now? Do you want to get into large scale electric flight? If so, get all you can up front and save your self money in the long run.
Large scale electrics will run on 24+ nicd/nimh cells or 8+ LIPO's, so if that's a route you see your self taking in the future, it may be wise to get something capable of that or more. The type of charger you need depends ultimately on where you want to go with the hobby.
