JR XP6102 throttle ratchet
I want to remove the ratcheting action from throttle on my JR XP6102 radio. I tried to
loosen the tension bolt as much as possible but, the ratcheting is still there. I removed
the metal plate that makes it ratchet, but now the throttle is dangerously loose. I might
try to turn the plate upside down to see if it tightens it. Any advice???
Thank you!

Just turn it upside down, reinstall it and tighten tension screw until it feels about right. JR does offer a smooth surface metal piece but that should work fine

iirc if flipping it over doesnt work you might be able to slip a piece of shrink tube over it. it should stop the ratchet but leave some resistance.

I don't know exactly how the JR throttle ratchet is designed, but on my Futaba, I took the back off and slipped a short (~1/2 inch) piece of fuel tubing over the tension bar so the ratchet wheel rubs on the tubing. I fly my heli and fixed wing giant scales with the smooth throttle and like it much better than the ratchet. Hope this helps.

RE: JR XP6102 throttle ratchet
Thank you everyone for your help. I ended up turning it over and adjusted the tension perfectly without the ratcheting.
