Ok, since I'm now able to hover my Axe CP completely, I'm ready for a larger heli, such as the Align T-rex 450, or the Heli-Max MX 450. Which helicopter is better to get?

The T-Rex 450, but you better make sure you can do some real good flying with the Axe CP before you go off spending $1200 or so on something you may not be ready for.

OMG 500th post on RCU W00T!

Well, I can hover it pretty well. It will be a while before I can actually buy a T-rex, so, in the meantime, I can practice with my Axe. I haven't crashed it in about 20 or so flights, so things are going good. BTW, has anyone flown an Axe CP inverted yet, and how well does it do 3D?

I'd fly the blades off of that Axe CP before buying a larger heli due to the chance that you'll forget all about the Axe CP, once you get a larger heli. Learning curves tend to slow down if you change helicopters before reaching the potential of the previous model.

I haven't crashed it in about 20 or so flights, so things are going good.
Careful now! I've said the same thing in the past and doing so has always resulted in a big cra$h.

Good luck and good flying!

Thanks, I'm planning on learning off of the Axe. But, I made this forum mostly for people like you guys to tell me what to get next. As soon as I get a T-rex, the Axe will be on E-bay, hopefully with some upgrade parts, like aluminum blade grips, and swashplate.

Also, I'm trying to figure out how to upgrade my Axe to brushless power, sometime in the future. How do I do that, as I don't know how to get the tailrotor to work, if I upgrade.
