Sim software help required for complete Newbie....!!!
Hi all
Newbie here with a software question.
I have just got a King 3 complete kit (heli, blades, training kit, spare battery, hard case, esky cable, etc).
My question is this....
Software...what flight sim software is available and is it free or if not how much does it cost?
I would like to use the Esky cable and controller I have already got.
First flight is hopefully tonight (if the battery ever charges up...!!!), wish me luck...!!
Cheers in advance for any replies.

RE: Sim software help required for complete Newbie....!!!
you should have got an E-Sky disc with the package which has FMS on it (Flying Model Simulator), if not then you can download it for free at [link=http://www.flying-model-simulator.com/]Flying-Model-Simulator[/link] or you can get any of the other more expensive (well, everything is more expensive than free, right? ) sims and use your controller with those, or some come with their own!!
your choice!
Matty )
p.s. if at all possible, have a go on the sim before you try to take to the skies straight away! also have a look here [link=http://www.dream-models.com/eco/flying-index.html]RADD's School Of Rotary Flight[/link] before you do anything to seriously damage your bird!!!

Hi Matty
I'm from fareham, hants so just down the road from you.
Decided it was too late to fly the beast so am gonna download the FMS and try that first.
I'm away at the moment (since Oct) and not back till end of May.
Weather in the UAE is perfect for flying so there is abit of a bonus to being here.
Cheers for the help mate.

Small world!
I trained in Sultan (hence why I'm away for 7 months!).
Still in although only for a few more years.
Downloaded the FMS software and as I have Vista, the D3DRM.dll file so will sort it this afternoon and do some sim time.
First flight for set-up should be this evening.
