How to replace motor gear
Bought a new motor and gear . How do you fit the gear on the motor shaft. Do you need to heat up the gear to fit on the shaft?. Any info please.

RE: How to replace motor gear
It is for a ESKY Belt CP V2. Stock motor and 10 tooth gear with no grub screw. Seems to be press fit.
Do you just press it on in a vise?.

RE: How to replace motor gear
If there is no set screw, then it is a press fit. Just be careful because you can bend your shaft. The hardest part is getting it started and it gets easier after that. You just want to make sure it starts out straight so you don't stress the shaft. It will follow after that.
