I still get the shakes!!!
After a few toy grade air hog helis Iwashooked.Imade thetransition to CP helis two years , andI stillcan't fly all that well.
Every time Ihave the heli in the air Ican't helpbut get the shakes. My knees are the worst also my armsand fingers shake.
After landingIhave the biggest addrenline rush feels so good to be back on the ground inone piece.
Ithink this is one of the best things with flyin helis,so close to that thin line one step over and CRASH
Let meknow you favorite thing about flyin theselittle wonders
Thanks

RE: I still get the shakes!!!
I seem to go back and forth. Sometimes I get the shakes and then I will go for a while just fine. I am more likely to get the shakes if I am flying in front of a crowd. Probably the fear of crashing and looking bad.

RE: I still get the shakes!!!
I get the shakes every time I try something new...
I am practicing inverted hovering now with my small MCPX and can hover it easily inverted 40 feet high..
whenever I bring it down to head height my fingers start to shake so much I almost crash... (watch this vid at 2:30... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ao0UsgV-H28
And at 2:10 in this one... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OxJXDT2FhqE
I think its a normal part of learning... I look at it this way.. if you get the shakes, you are pushing yourself outside your comfort zone and that is a good thing..
