Align AP800 goes from +11to +1.0????

Align AP800 goes from +11to +1.0????
When i go past +11 on the ap800 instead of going to +12 it will either say 1.0 and run up to 1.0 ,1.1 ,1.2 and so on.Sometimes it will climb correctly from 11 to 14 and after that it will jump to 35.1......is this normal
