Default Brushless Motor Cutting off strangely in 5 second intervals

I have a dynam 450-3d that I just replaced all the stock electronics in.. When I spin up the motor it doesn't matter what the throttle is set at it will spin for 5 seconds then lose all power... Im thinking this is a low voltage issue with the ESC anyone have any input???

Default RE: Brushless Motor Cutting off strangely in 5 second intervals

Ok upon reading the fine print in the instructions that came with the ESC which says over 7.6 volts use no more than 3 servos with the BEC. I am running 4.. There is also little or no control response while the motor is running no matter what the thottle setting.. Thinking this could mean I need a seperate battery for the receiver any input on this?????
