Should the top of the pinion gear be in the center of the main gear of copter x450 pro??
I found that with the pinion gear mounted up as high as it can go on the main shaft of the motor. That the very top of the pinion is sitting in the center of the helis main gear. Now i raised the pinion as high as it would go.The flat spot on the main shaft does not go high enough????? Also if you look at the top of the heli.Looking at the motor mount from the top.The mount is installed so that the indent is facing up....like a bowl.....the mount came this way.Is it upside down??? i thought that if i flipped the mount, that this would allow the motor to sit higher.

is any of the shaft sticking up past the end of the pinion ? if it is then you can always get the dremel with cutoff wheel out and etend the notch thats if you have a dremel, with the pinion only contacting half the gear thats a major weak point and you will wind up stripping gears, there again why not try flipping the mount if it looks wrong than it might be, especially if it was assembled at a factory lol.

I agree...flip it over.
All of my helis...the main gear rides right about the center of the pinion. If your pinion is only contacting half of your main gear...something is definitely out of whack...I would say.
