t-rex 550e good price?
Hey, i have a question for who ever can give me their best opinion.. Been awhile since i've been back on here forgot i had an account
so i thought i'd post with a question.
T-rex 550e (the now discontinued) is selling brand new super combo for $510 CAD... Think it's worth it?
I have one on hold and because it's a V1 i'm wondering if anyone had any complaints about it or if $510 is a steal or not.
so i thought i'd post with a question.

Not FBL unfortunately. It's a flybar heli. I don't mind the old flybar helis, probably because i didn't have any luck with my first FBL 3gx setup and gave up on that heli

I cant say for sure, as the only FBL heli I own right now is the mCPX v.2
But, Ive read that there is no super huge advantage to a FBL heli over a FB one in LARGER helis...say 500 and up. The FBL really helps on smaller ones, especially the 250 size.
Maybe someone here will chime in on if thats the case or not. But still...seems like a pretty good deal, however I dont know what the exchange rate is Canadian vs US dollar to know exactly for sure how good a deal it is or not.

Having fly bar'ed helos in fuel .30 to .90 size and gas 23cc then electric 250, 450, 500 and 600 then going to fly bar-less 450, 550, and 700 I can say that fly bar-less flys much better. More precise and quicker to react. Also easier (for me) to set up...

Oh i agree with the Align gyro's. Though i've found the 780's seem ok. I've simply found the 3g/3gx gyro's garbage. I have a NIB 3GX downstairs collecting dust because i refuse to use it.
