Default Cheap batteries

looking for some cheap reasonable quality batteries - 3s 2200 25c (or maybe 20 c). I've been using blue lipo (about 16 bucks I think) and for the kind of flying I do they've worked fine - but they are now disco'd.

I own quite a few Blue Lipos...hate to hear they are no more.

Lately though, Ive been using the HK Zippy's.  They arent quite as cheap as BL's, but still cheap and work well so far for me.

Ok - looking at HK some of the zippys say 2100 3s 35c, some say 2200 3s1p 40c. What's the difference between a 3s (3cell) and a 3s1p?

If you order from HK, don't forget they have a US warehouse in the Seattle area. You can actually go there and pick it up.

No difference the 1p means 1 pack. So its a 3 cell battery in one package.

If you had say a 4s2p would be 2, 2 cell packs put together to make a 4 cell.

The "S" refers to how many series wired cells are in the pack and that determines the overall voltage, Series wired cells increase voltage.
The "P" refers to how many cell rows are then wired in parallel and determines the overall capacity. Parallel wired cells increase capacity.

A 3S 2100 35C is the same as a 3S1P 2200 35 C pack. An 11.1volt pack with one row of 3 cells wired in series. Some don't put the "P" on while some do and it can be confusing .
A 4S2P 4200 35C would be a 14.8 volt pack and would have 2 rows of 4 series wired cells wired in parallel or 8 cells....4 series wired cells on top of 4 series wired cells wired in parallel.
Parallel wiring greatly increases capacity but does not increase the "C" rating or allow you to charge the pack faster.

Have you ever been there? Tell us about the building? How about an actual physical address?

Odd, I just tried to place an order and it didn't give me the pick up option.

My last order I ordered from the US warehouse and it only took about 4 days before I got it, so if you order from the US warehouse and living in Spanaway, you should have it in a couple of days.

I did find an address though:

HOBBYKING USA LLC
9822 47TH AVE SW LAKEWOOD WA
98499-5976
