Question FBL gyro setup- looking for some advice

Been out of the hobby for a few years and can't believe how things have progressed! FBL technology has definitely changed the game. I'm looking for some advice for setting up a three axis FBL gyro. I just bought a CopterX 450 Pro V5 kit and all of the electronics to make it fly but am somewhat confused by the CX-3X2000 gyro. Is there a better way of setting it up other than using the radio and watching for a blinking LED? Is a programming box any better? How about the programming software "wizards" out there? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hank

There's a lot to this a great place to start is a youtube video with someone that has your exact setup.
