JR Veture rubber landing gear do-daas?
Hi guys, A noob was at the field today with a JR venture with training gear. The pilot had a littel trouble keeping it still, and ended up setting it down a littel hard while sliding to the side.
Not sure, but it looked to me like it should not have been a problem, except the rubber vibration dampers between the gear and the frame tore loose. No boom strike. Is this a common problem? Are there heavy duty dampers available? Is it best to just bolt the gear to the frame directly?

A well known issue...the easiest solution is exactly what FuryFlyer2 suggested...just mount the gear without them. The other option that some folks seem to like is to drill all the way through the dampners and replace the two short bolts with one long bolt between the frame and the bows.
