DRAGANFLYER X-PRO Industrial Helicopter
I was wondering dose anyone have this copter or have seen it fly in real life? I would like some info on it. Like how it flys and whatever else. Love to see some pics from owners. I don't think alot of people have this copter because of the $5000 price tag. I am sure it would fly better then the Draganfly iv and the blades won't snap easy because it's made of carbon fiber. Right now i will see if draganfly will sell the Draganflyer x-pro Promotional Videotape to me. Somewhere i saw you had to have the copter first to get the tape. Any Input on this copter would be great!!

RE: DRAGANFLYER X-PRO Industrial Helicopter
I have a Draganflyer IV but not a X-Pro. Personally I think X-Pro is way too expensive. $5,000 are you kidding? Draganflyer IV can carry a payload of 4 oz. With 7 times the money, the payload only increases 4 times to 1 lb. Definitely a rip off. If I want to squander that kind of money, I will buy a Steadicoper for $27,000 with 20+ lb payload (that is only $1,350 per lb payload!), GPS controlled, auto-pilot, all metal construction, and a range over 2.5 miles! If I want to go pro, I want a real Pro helicopter.

RE: DRAGANFLYER X-PRO Industrial Helicopter
ItĀ“s a good calculation...
I also have a DraganFly IV and IĀ“m very pleased with it. The only odd for me is that the blades are sooooooo easy to break up. So IĀ“m make my own.
The steady copter could be much more expensive to fix than the DF PRO (I think).
Anyway, I think the guys at the DFI need some competition to make them decrese the price.
The thing you said about the GPS and the authonomy are very cool caracteristics.
DFI have an electric sailplane called Predator the (about 750 dollars) that can be (adding 6000 !!!!!) for the GPS.
