Kavan Bell Jet Rangers need a flier
Hi,
I have an RC friend that has 2 Kavan Bell Jet Ranger helios that are complete, assembled without radio gear. One has a Kavan engine and the other has a Weber 61. The engines have been briefly bench run. Neither helio has been off the ground. The present owner is an avid RC plane flier but realizes he is never going to fly the Kavans and would like to find someone to sell them to. It looks like these helios are still admired by fliers that are interested in scale flying.
Any leads, advice, opinions wil be appreciated. We are in the dark here.
We are located in Corning, CA about 100 miles north of Sacramento.

What does he want for them? I sold mine quite some time ago and would love to have another. They are one of the nicest jet ranger helis. Have him shoot me an email or PM with some pics and prices if he has any.

He doesn't have a computer so I will have to handle the communications. The thing is he isn't at all familiar with the market on these things. How can we find a reasonble price?
As far as pictures I need to look into that. I don't know if he has a digital camera. Someone in the club surely does. It may take a few days but I will get back to you. Boy we are not very well prepared.

it is hard to value the kavan helis. The best way if you want the absolute most for them is to put them on ebay with good text and pictures and let the market tell you what they are worth. There are no parts for them any more and therefore you may think they would be worthless, but that is not entirely the case. If they are in good shape, they will bring some bucks. You dont' see them very often. Hard to put a value on them without knowing whats all there and what kind of shape they are in.

hi guys i also have a kavan jet ranger but i need to find some spare parts:such as main gear, belt drive and pulleys,tail drive wire,and main blades. can anyone help?? p.s. looked on ebay already and no luck thanks topgun
