Theft Alert (Seattle Area)
Since I was planning on flying in the morning, I left my heli in my
car last night. Someone stole the following from my car:
Freya
JR 8103 Transmitter
Hanger 9 starter
I think is was kid(s) and/or someone who knows something about
the hobby. My flight box was in the car as well. My wife found
the flight box at the end of the driveway (they found it too heavy?)
but they did steal the starter that was in the flight box. They didn't
take the ni-start. They also took a CD walkman from my wife's
car but left a small amount of money that was in her car. They
also didn't take a couple of credit cards that both my wife and I
had in our cars. Enough rambling.
Detaills on the equipment:
Freya - Stock canopy, American flags on both sides at the
mainshaft. The bottom of the canopy has a split seam that has
been repaired. The vertical fin is a Mr. Carbon 3d fin, but the
horizontal fin is the stock plastic fin. OS 61SX-WC engine and
Muscle Pipe. Electronics include JR 9 channel S-PCM Rx on
Ch. 33, Sanyo 2000 4 cell pack, battery monitor, JR 460T gyro,
JR 8231 on the collective, Futaba 9202s on the cyclics and a
JR 531 in the throttle. 680 V-blades and SAB (X-Cell) carbon
t/r blades. Upgrades include the EX washout guide, 3rd
bearing block, and 93 tooth delrin gear. She also has a JR
servo support attached to the main frames to support the
collective servo.
Transmitter - JR 8103 Heli version in a Hobbico single
transmitter case. Thankfully, this is the radio I use for
planks, but it's only a couple of months old (Father's
Day gift). Model 1 is named Wiley, Model 2 is named
Lite Stk. Model 10 is named Sim. At the time, there
was no transmitter module in the transmitter (or a setup
for the Freya).
Starter - Hanger 9 starter with a Pegae start shaft. There
is a Hobbico starter battery box attached to the starter.
Since that didn't work out very well, I've also got a couple
of 6 cell car packs attacked to the battery box. It's all
wired with R/C car wires and Deans Ultra power connectors.
That's it (as if it isn't enough). I'm glad our heli transmitters
were in the house getting charged (two 10SXIIs). That's
the silver lining on this cloud. They also didn't take the
Supernova or the plank starter in the car. I've already
notified all the R/C shops in the area. I'll post a notice at
Marymoor ASAP, but I'm stuck here at home. I called the
police but they have been a little busy today dealing with
a bank robbery/hostage situation in town (Kirkland) that
is still in progress. Maybe they have my heli in the back
of their getaway car...
Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Theft Alert (Seattle Area)
I am very sad to hear this. I am not in the Seattle area or else I would be helping you find your equipment. I wish you the best of luck retrieving everything in one piece.
