You say you are using CMT blades. I think these are jigsaw type blades with a low profile. I would think that they would generate a lot of headspeed.

I would like to know why you are using them. Are they better than the SAB blades and why.

Please don't take this wrong,I'm a little confused. The engine and thro curve will generate head-speed and control it. The airfoil will have little to do with that unless maybe it's a S-camber or a Reflex type blade. The CMT are very similar to the SAB blades, I have used both. The CMT are a little more than the SAB in price but work as well.I'm using these blades because they came with the heli for review.

I have a set of CMT's and they are low profile, meaning thin. The blade with a thinner airfoil produce less drag and less lift. They would create less of a load at the same pitch, but also get less lift. They usually overspeed.

Just let me know how the CMT blades are. Maybe I will try my set.

OK here's a pic of the completed tail , went together very smoothly. The tail blade grips(molded one piece) and hub (solid one piece) come assembled all you need to do is install the balls. The pitch slider and ball is a little tight but should wear in and become smooth.

I found some good Futaba 9201 (9202) servos. You must install the servos before you can put both G-10 frames together. The servos are held in with 3mm bolts , that means you can't use eyelets which stinks. Just make sure you don't over tighten them. Everything lined and and fix perfect.

The lower frames are held together with the L aluminum channel that gets bolted and screwed to the lower section. Once bolted in place the whole frame assembly stiffened right up.

That looks like G-10 plates rather then plastic.

Here is a pic of the installed swash plate and wash out. The ball link are tight and need to be sized.

2nd problem , the anti-rotation pin on the swash plate that slides up and down the anti-rotation bracket is VERY TIGHT. I will have to use and knife to open up the slot to allow the swash plate to move freely up and down.

This is the right way to spin a pinion on a clutch bell.Notice the machined down step on the pinion gear.

You know how on the Raptor 30 you have to buy a spacer for the clutch so the clutch shoes do'nt rub the fan hub. Well the Quick heli has that machined already in the fan hub.

Default Antirotation Guide

You might try finding a Dremmel bit just slightly larger than the arm coming off the swashplate. Use that to open up the slot in the guide and it should only take you a couple of minutes... hehe the knife would take a while I imagine.

I'm waiting to hear how this thing flies... I've heard lots about the manufacturer but have only known one person who has flown one... so it will be interesting to hear another opinion.
