Futaba 401 and 9C Radio setup question
I tried finding the answers to a few questions on this board but got confused. I almost have my Raptor ready to fly and need some help with the gyro setup. Futaba 401 and Futaba 9C. I'm new so be please patient if I ask a dumb question or two.
I set the gyro sensitivity to 40% NOR and 50% AVC, is this a good place to start? Are these settings what they refer to as the gain?
Also, what does the rudder ATV do to the gyro? Should I leave it at 100/100?
I have no revo mixing in HH mode. Do I need any revo in the normal mode?
Thanks, Todd.

60% for both modes is great to start with. Try to add more gain until the tail starts to shake a bit (at that point you should lower it with 5%). ATV should be 10% for both sides. Revo mixing should be turned off in all modes!

ATV 10% both sides, I think you mean 100% both sides. This will control how fast your tail spins when you add rudder. If you want some slower piroettes you can try 75% and if you want crazy fast piro's you can max the ATV out at 140%. I have always ran my channel 4 ATV's at 100%. You might be better off leaving revo mix off in normal mode and learning correct the tail yourself, might make you better at it.
