Default Using JR10SXII Airplane for Heli?

Hi
Has anyone tried using a JR10SXII airplane transmitter for heli?
If so do you know where I can get some info on setting up the radio (mixing and so forth). I have a Hirobo Condor60 and want to learn how to fly heli but I don't want to buy another transmitter. I just want to see if I like flying helicopters and if I do then I'll get a Heli transmitter.
I knew I shouldn't have sold my 8103!!

If the heli was fixed pitch that radio would work fine

but since you mentioned it was a 50 sized bird i'm taking that its a collective pitch chopper ( Lots of $$ ) - the aircraft radio is missing too many features to fly that chopper so you need to get a good heli radio

That shouldn't be a major problem for what you want to do. Just plug in the pitch servo into channel 6 and mix it to the throttle. Use a variable mix so you can adjust the points on the pitch to match throttle. Aileron, elevator and rudder work the same as on the plane so shouldn't be much of a problem either.

Should work more than well enough to get you started.
