What flying style do you fly?
Seems like an insignificant and meaningless question to ask. Who cares and why?
Maybe a poll on who uses what type of Heli cleaning fluid would be more useful??

I like to fly, and have fun doing and learning new manuevers, and like RS2K said, keep it out of the dirt. Its a very challenging hobby, and heli's seems to be unlimited in what they can perform. Daz...

being a newbie I'll be flying for fun, though I've had countless hours spent on the G2 sim from doing inverts, hovering and autorotations I'll have to see how much it will apply to the real thing.

Perhaps create a " Busted Blades " award in the fasion of the Broken Prop award that get handed to the R/C plane pilots for the wildest crash of the Year ??.... not to make fun of anybodys crash but as a kind of consolation award for " Flight Above and Beyond the encelope "....
I have one of those awards given to me when i was at a fun fly years ago and i got into a impropmtu race with some quickie 500 racers ( I was flying a Norvel .061 Ace GLH with a homemade tuned pipe and cannon micro R/C Gear) ....never thought i could rekit a plane into more pieces than the Orig kit came with until i clipped ( More like centerpunched ) the far pylon...
eeeeeeeeee..........SPACK !

I guess when I voted flying for fun I kind of thought of it as more of a all of the above type choice. I fly all styles for fun, however most of the time I'm the only one that can recognize my 3d flying as such.

i am new to helis after many years flying planes. I am currently learning to hover and at a later date when I have mastered hovering I want to mov on to 3-d. Several guys at our flying field are flying 3-D.

ShempHoward,
I use Windex and a soft towel. Air, Q-tips acid brush's are great for the corners and hard to reach area's. (Maybe since you are from the" Bay area," you could get a sponge really cheap)
Maybe you should get with experienced heli people in your community and they can show you how get your heli to "Luster".
I imagine that the salty air could do some horrific damage to your heli. I would suggest spraying your head and tail assembly with Tri flo. This will help ya keep the corrosion down and keep heli well lubricated.
My goal: Scale and 3-d. When the fun stops,I stop.
