Default Radios

I have the RD6000 Super. It does it all and is very easy to program at a great price. If you get it from a heli supplier such as Heliproz it comes with 5 good servos and a high capacity battery pack. I highly reccomend it.

Default Radio For Planes And Helis

I'm a Hitec Eclipse 7 fan. Hobby People has a Thanksgiving sale (5 days only) the radio with a Spectra module (dial any channel) is only $199. (no flight pack). This was their price in their flyer, I'm not sure if it's available via mail order but it wouldn't hurt to call.

Default 9C

Have to put my vote in on the Futaba 9C either the A or the H I personally fly the 9CA with both Helis and planes and love it. Best money I ever spent, well other than my new JR Venture and er my new U Can Do 3D plank, ummm and my new digital camera......I love Per Diem always have lots of extra left over for toys...hehehe

umm sorry I digress.....I vote for the 9CA

I have the RD 6000-hitec Eclipse w/Spectra-Futaba 9 WC2, all three great radio I favor the Eclipse somewhat over the RD 6 but the Futaba is excellent but I bought the work over 1K. If money is no object the Futaba is the ticket, but here lately with me I have to stay with in a budget before Xmas..

Default 9C

I was talking about the 9C (259.00 <tx only> from bruckner hobbies) I can not afford the 9Z, which retails for well over 1k

With the specials running at tower right now you can get the whole radio system PCM or FM (CAP/CHP or CAF/CHF) for about 330.00 or so.

Check it out

Default Radio For Planes And Helis

I started flying helis this last spring on a futaba 9ca. Works great.
I have two and a half helis now all setup on this radio. Need a gyro and governer for the last one before spring.

If you are in Davenport, so am I. There are several guys flying helis and the number seems to be climbing. Send me an e-mail at

[email protected]

and I will send you my phone number.

All the best.
Bob

You might also consider the JR 8103 transmitter. I have had two of them and they are very good radios..
