The best Gyro?
My opinion for what its worth. I have 3 GY601's, 1 GY 502, 2 GY 501's, 2 CSM 560's and 5 GY401. All but one is in a flyable X-Cell or Vario.
I would rate them greatest to best (they are all superior) GY 601, CSM 560, GY 502, GY 401, GY501. I would have to rate the CSM 560 best value and GY 601 best performance. GY 401 most stupid proof.

The best Gyro?
hehe
CSM would be pleased with second only to the 601/9251 combo...
I wonder how good the 560 will be when it supports the 9251 as well?
Brian, how does your battery life compare with the 601 to the 560? is the 560 as economical as CSM say comparing the 2?
I know its better than my JR 5000T that seems to eat battery power...

RE: The best Gyro?
First the 401 has remote gain. Second there are 240, 401, 502, 601 and 611 gyros and they are not replacements for each other within their class, in other words they are marketd to different groups. I can´t compare how they compare to the CSM 560 as th eonly CSM I´ve had was a 400 which I wouldn´t recomment to anyone...

RE: The best Gyro?
ok if you are looking for the best regardless the price
JR 770 3D with servo combo - Futaba 611 - logictech 6100
all of the above is not a must if your not flying hard 3d
other than that 401 is a great gyro but stay away from the csm

gy401/9253 .........price/value/proven performance...........keeps my raptor 50 rock solid in even high winds.......
im shure once you go above a certain price....there all gonna be rathher good.......
if you use a highend servo/gyro combo how can you go wrong? of cource your gonna say your heli holds great....for around $300 forjust a gyro/servo....it betta [:
i think alot of the new guys that complane about there gyros not holding well.....dont have them set right....and blam them.......
when i first got my gy401/9253 going....i said there is something wrong with the equiptment.....
then i came to my sences....and had an rather expierenced flyer show me how to set it up.............the rest is history [8D]
