Default Schluter Helicopters

I started flying Heli's in the mid 70's.I started with a Schluter HeliBoy. I then had a Magic and the last one I had and still have is the Schluter Futura. I've been out of the hobby for at least 6 years
(the Futura is still in perfect shape).
My question, What happened to Schluter?
I see no reference of them anywhere. There stateside distributor was Robbe in Montgomery Township, N.J. but their long gone. Just curious. Thanks.

Schluter Heli's were bought by Robbe in
Germany.

Currently imported by Helicopters Unlimited
in Connecticut.

ronlund.com is one of the top US dealers.

I can confirm that Robbe bought Schluter and are now trading under the Robbe Schluter banner producing some rather excellant helicopters such as the Millenium

Thanks for the info. I have an old Heli Boy, and a GMP Cricket that I was thinking about converting to Electric. Anyone got any idea what size motor I should use?

Default Schluter Helicopter

Dieter Schluter did produce an all new design as a comeback in
the mid 90's named comeback but was not popular the design
seemed very interesting and looked very German, but it did not
happen. if any body has more info on this heli can they
please post it.

I have an unknown schluter..I think its a futura..I have had other schluters in the past also..The one I have now is very modern and with a high detail scale body of a german helicopter..This is a large heli and it flies oh so smooth..I have alot of new spares for champions and heliboys and others..My schluter is so sweet to fly compaired to my raptor 50..But the Raptor is a 3-d ship..My 61 powered schluter is certainly capable of aerobatics but at 15 pounds,we wont go there..lol..I would be glad to send pics if any of you can identify my heli..thanks...And fly it like you stole it...

Shoot some pics to raptor2378@sbcglobal.net. I've had several Schluters, loved them.

If you run one of the new Rossi or Webra motors that are ran in Vario or Graupner helis you can bring that old Schluter back to life something fierce.

Default RE: Schluter Helicopter

I own the Schluter Heli Star. 2 weeks ago I took the entire kit apart and cleaned and polished all the aluminum. Beginning to look real nice. I have two questions for fellow Schluter owners.

1) Does any retailer sell replacement wooden rotors that fit the Heli Star? I'm afraid to fly it again unless I know that I can purchase some replacements.
2) I am re-greasing all the bearings. Is there a preferred grease to use? If so, can someone send me a link to purchase it?

Thanks.
