This post runs along the line of adding klotz oil to your fuel. I have posted this before but did not get an answer. I am using coolpower 15% in my heli. Can I run this alone or should I add somthing else like klotz oil?

Cool power 15% aircraft fuel is no different than heli ,they just put a heli sticker on it and charge more.I've run it for 3 years without a problem.

I run Cool 15% but always add 4 ounces of Klotz sythetic to bring the lube by volume to approx 20% total per gallon To me its added cheap insurance.

Cool power has plenty of oil. Adding more oil is counter productive. Less oil means more alcohol. More alcohol means cooler running, more power. Cooler running requires less oil.

You may be able to purchase Klotz oil locally from a motorcycle shop. My local motorcycle shop carries Klotz products but their wholesaler did not have the RC products. I have read where others have been able to get the RC oils from motorcycle shops.

I ordered directly from Klotz, but it is not cheap.
