Here are the first flying videos of the Jakadofsky turbine powered Huey:
Huey Turbine Start
Huey Hoover
Huey maiden flight
Next weekend we will probably do the first real roundflight. We checked the full mechnaics after last weekend and realized no problems, so everything should be ok for flying it like it should be done !

Hey Elliot...
Are you still around?
It seems your links dont work anymore and I want to show my buddies at the club your amazing work. Do you have your pictures and movies posted anywhere else? If not would you mind sending them to me?
Cheers!

V6goose,
Just a helpful tip - nobody, nobody calls a UH-1 an "Iroquois." The original designation was "HU-1," before the Army changed their aircraft designation system, and even the test pilots were calling it a Huey. I just quit flying them this year after we traded them out for Blackhawks. I soloed in a Huey in 1979 as a 19 year old flight school candidate, so I flew them for nearly 30 years. They're great machines, elegent in their simplicity.

RE: Iroquois pilots... show me your ships!
Hi Jgunpilot...
Good point, and thanks for that.
I have known them as Iroquois or Hueys ever since I was a kid. Even if thats wrong, I'm hoping curiosity will draw posters in this thread as I cant change it now.
Thanks a lot for your pictures...
Goose
