Leo 15 GP Size helicopter
The 15 size engine and heli design by someone close with thunder tiger owner..the design comes from TT I think..the price is very tempting..together with muffler, 15 Leo engine and kit cost only US$178.98.. refer to this website I've found..[link]http://www.bunkyo-rc.com/product_info.php?cPath=51&products_id=277&osCsid=51e585a034e1ee619ca60f88d587ba17[/link]
found the website but kinna incomplete...it's made in taiwan..[link]http://www.leoengines.com/eng/introduction/AboutUs.asp[/link]
The best thing about this engine also can start without using glow and hex starter. The starter can be install directly to the heli and can start by just pulling the starter cable attach to the heli and it's good to go. Something that I really like..easy and practical..
Anyone know about this helicopter please share..

RE: Leo 15 GP Size helicopter
Don't know about the model, but the webpage is a bit screwy to me. Anyone who has used amainhobbies to buy anything knows what I am talking about. If Amain and bunkyo are the same company or something it would make sense. If not, I am thinking whoever made bunkyos website just stole amainhobbies html, worked it a little bit, and said I'm done.
The bunkyo website is like a copy of amains site with little differences but really, it is too similar for it to be a coincidence.
Have a look see for yourself and then tell me I'm wrong.
Cool looking little heli, how much is 680 myr in USD

I dunno what you mean by bunkyo copying amain hobby ecommerce application. Mostly nowadays people like you and me can download free open source ecommerce application from the internet and create our own ecommerce website in just 10 minutes. I've seen many ecommerce website with the same interface because it comes from the same root open source apps.
Anyway you can check www.xe.com for detail exchange rate between malaysian ringgit to USD. around USD178. Muffer+kit+engine..The cheapest GP heli ever..hmm

Call it what you want, but I am going to call a spade a spade.
That website is a direct ripoff of amain if you ask me. If what you say is true, and I don't doubt it is, it would only further my belief that this was something setup in 10 minutes and probably not the place where I will buy my next model. It really looks like a copy of amains site to me, change a few colors and the name. All the other online hobby stores I visit don't look just like amains site so that says something to me.
Quality of input affects the quality of output.
I was just stating that basically it looks like they took amains website, threw their name on it, and then made some grammatical errors. If they can't even come up with their own decent site I can't say I would buy anything from them.
If you buy something, let us know how it turns out.

RE: Leo 15 GP Size helicopter
Now that the thread has gone down a long dusty road....
I would still like to see more info about this heli, anyone heard of the manufacturer before?
Would be an interesting addition to the mini field. A while back there was a bit of discussion going around with the blackhawk which is supposedly available as nitro or gp.
I have yet to hear much about that but it's another one that I want to see. Something about the smell and noise of nitro that is just cool.

Well about the grammatical error of course we're not English people..and it's not our mother tongue language..so it is expected. I buy a lot of things from this guy and so far it's great. He's really a very nice person.
Several of my friends just bought this Leo heli and maybe a week or two might getting some input from them.
Stay tuned.

According to my friend yes this heli is capable of mild 3d and also suitable for beginner. Direct servo to swashplate input provide more stable control without any slop. I hope to get this heli by the end of this month..dunno still deciding..hehehe

Chill fellas,
I never said they broke a bunch of laws...just that the website looks like a cheap knockoff of a more popular site. Enjoy it if it works for you. I have no interest in checking up on them so thanks anyway for the link.
If anyone stateside orders from there keep us posted, I would like to hear how it works out for shipping, customer service etc...
