Venture 30 eating tail belt
I am on my third belt. Anyone else have this problem. I have belt dust all over. I also have a large amont of oil in the canapy. I have changed all the plumbing, even the engine. It started it after about 100 flights. It appears to be exhaust residue, not fuel.

I had a lot of trouble with the tank fitting leaking on the Venture. The cheapo plug in fitting just did not cut it. I finally wound up installing a fitting that I robbed from the tank for a Sceadu. You could also switch the whole tank assembly for the one that goes in the Voyager.

I did the same thing. I used the one from the Caliber which is close to the same. I have put in new tanks even, Also the header. I replaced the muffler. There is nothing left, but I still have a mess all over.

I had the same problem when I first put my Heli together. Turns out that I tightened the 2 little set screws where the boom attaches to the body so tight that they went through the boom and were rubbing on the belt and chewing it up. If you suspect this might be the problem, take the boom out and check it out. I had to straighten everything out when I did. Hope this helps.-- John
