RE: Blade 400 or Mini Titan
I'm not sure about your servos and motor but I would suggest a better gyro.
Here's my spec:
- mini-Titan with OEM motor
- Castle Creations Phoenix 45 ESC
- (3) JR DS285MG servos on swash
- Futaba GY401 gyro w/S9257 tail servo
- Metal body posts
- Thunder Tiger Rotor Spacers PV0829 (to run Align blades)
- Cellpro Revolectrix 2200mAh 3s LiPo packs (these are superior to Thunder Power)
If I were you I'd run your spec list past the pros on the mini-Titan thread.

RE: Blade 400 or Mini Titan
Here's my setup.
Stock E325 motor
Castle 40amp
4 Hitec hs 65hb
Futaba gy401
Align pro woods with spacers "track great"
DX6i & AR6100e
I'm still learning hover in the garage and my only problem is if you come down fairly hard the stock skids break too easy. I just ordered a set of Spider gear from X-Gear with hopes of saving some cash in skid and frame repairs.
