Spektrum transmitters
Hi All,
Im planning to upgrade my generic TX to a Spektrum, ive got two choices (depends on my fundage)
Spektrum Dx6 and the Dx6I
I have a few questions....
1. Are they compatible with other 2.4ghz RX's?
2. Are they somewhat easy to program?
3. Are they usable with the Clearview flight sim? (my current TX isnt at all!!)
4. Will it make me a better pilot? LOL
Wanted to get some info before i go ahead and make my decision to purchase.
Thank you to anyone who replies.
BTW i own a Genesis 450PE with some nicely upgraded parts... at least i think they are lol

They are NOT compatible with other brand of 2.4 recievers. Each mfg. has there own unique 2.4 protocol. The DX and DXi will work with the same Skektum Rx.

RE: Spektrum transmitters
I bought a nice used Dx6 cause it was in my price range... and i havent flown my heli just yet... long story short i had a nightmare of a time with a brand new one that now needs parts replaced and ive got a new transmitter coming lol
ill have to find a ar6000 if thats the only one that works... although ads ive seen for the Dx6 come with a ar6200 which ill prolly wind up getting.. so ill do some investigating..
Im on the other side of the Buckman... soon as i get my heli flight ready and stable ill be looking for some clubs or places to fly lol

Yea Spektrum left all the DX6 owners out to dry as soon as they started on the DX7 [:@] They didnt make any recivers backward compatable and didnt release any new ones tha work with it. .

RE: Spektrum transmitters
You can still buy the ar6000 new from Ka-Planes for $49.99. Others may still sell it too, but I just happened to notice it there since I deal with them often.
