bog
I have a trex 600 helicopter ( with governer) and whenever fully throttle is given it seems to bog somewhat.i would really like to have the engine at a pretty high speed constantly. i have the pitch at the standard +10 pitch for full throttle and the engine Rpm set at about 1850 yet this still occurs. Im at a loss for what to do. any help appreciated.

RE: bog
Well I can tell you from experience that the hyper will pull 11 or 12 degrees of pitch w/o bogging so you're either too rich or your exhaust is too restrictive and has too much backpressure and its preventing the motor from making power.
What governor? You could always try disabling it and flying it on curves and see if that changes anything. If the governor isn't set up right that will cause it too.

RE: bog
its a Futaba® GV-1 Governor and the pipe is align pipe that comes with the trex combo( i uploaded a pic of it from the align site). my guess also was that the mixture may be the source of the problem. as of now my rex is out of commision but once i get it up and running ill be sure to try that. It always seems a little unburnt fuel is coming out of the pipe. should i mess with the high speed needle or the low speed to get the proper settings?
