Default 450 Heli motor inquiry

Hello, I just recently purchased a 450TH motor from an online company for my 450 heli, got ittoday - and want to make sure this thing is correct.

The size just really makes me wonder as it is definately not the same motor butis badged as the correct one with the KV and Part Number.
The First Picture is what I ordered: The second picture is what they sent me.

It states 450TH and 3000KV on the motor itself but it is really small. The one on the right is my 2580 KV motor from my 400 size heli.
Also the Site stated a 3.17 mm shaft size and this has a 2mm shaft. Not that it really matters as it will save me some dough on Pinions as I have 2mm ones allready.
This is the text for the motor - Second one down.
The size is correct, Unfortunately - I cannot weigh it to see that aspect.
It is actually smaller than my Axi 2212/26 outrunner that is used in my little brushless glider.
Are these motors just getting so powerful now that they are smaller or am Iwronged on this and they sent me something incorrect as a substitute.

Any input would be great as I want to get this thing in the air but want to know if I should contact them for a return.

Thanks, Jeff

from what i can see the red motor is way to small for a 450 size heli measure the out side in mm the shaft is cut down no big deal but that motor is real small

Dude7422 - The motors dimensions are: 27x30 - 27mm Dia. x 30mm len. overall from front mountof the motor to the back of shaft.

I was thinking the same thing as far as the motor was concerned on the size but I ordered it right off the 450 Size Heli Motor page.

-
I went over to look at the JUSTGOFLY website at their "450TH" and it states roughly the same dimensions on it.Even though they arenot even in the same class of motors, but it is rated as 3000 KV and an Insane motor for the 450.

Well, I sent the company I bought it from an email just to see what they as far as the size sent as well as the pictures.
Im sure they will say its fine, We'll see..

look at back of motor it has about 4 mm or 5mm of shaft mount

so that motor is real small it may work for a 450 size heli but for how long

so take off 5mm from motor and now its a 22mm x 25mm on the inside or close
