Hovering and YouTube.co
Model: 4g6
Ive been having an issue with trying to get my 4g6 to hover with no sucess because of a strong drift/movement left...when hovering and ground scrapping.
Ive read many people saying that all helis will move left or when starting to hover...
My question is...
How come on youtube people make hovering a foot or two off the ground so easy with novisibleleft drift?

RE: Hovering and YouTube.co
I made a mistake and ordered this from BananaHobbys.com
Here are a few pictures of the heli taped down on a table and with 20%throttlein various directions.
I am trying to return it to BH instead of trying to repair the problem...
(added below)
Various directions:
Sticks Centered.
Forward Direction
BackwardsDirection
Left Direction
Right Direction

RE: Hovering and YouTube.co
Well, Ever since I got this from Banana Hobbys Ive had an awful time trying to get this to hover.... it seems to pull left very hard...and when I took those photos I figured its because of the slight tilt in the rotor blades when the stick is centered.... Even when I push to go froward only, it had a slight tilt left... when I pull all the way back on the stick(reverse) it shows a slight tilt to the right side....
Example of how hard left it goes...with training bars/balls on...
If I try to hover 1 or 2 inches off the ground for 1 to 2 seconds, it pulls left 6 feet or more...
I skid on the ground sliding left instead of froward.
This is all within a large room in a house, no outside air to push it in a different direction.
I was told that I am to compensate for the pull left by pushing right but that doesnt seem to work very well.
I cant use the trims to adjust the pull even if I put the trims up to 80% right motion.
I was also told that the left motion is from the tail rotors...amm, but the main rotor pictures tell me different.
If this all seems normal, do all helis have thier rotors tilted like they are in the photo I posted?
To me, it doesn't seem right...maybe I am wrong since I am new to the hobby, but common logic tells me otherwise...
In degrees as 0 or 360 is forward :
0' and 360' is forward on the stick , it moves it to 315' instead.
180' degrees in backwards on the stick, it moves to to 115' backwards.
Do you see what I see it in the pictures now? If am wrong, please let me know what I am seeing or doing wrong?
I been trying to figure this heli out in the past 3 days.
PS: when I looked up Banana Hobbys on the BBB, I started to realize its not me(going crazy).... Some of the complaints I read seems like what I am experiencing...
Thank you for reading and looking at my post.

Looks like it just needs some minor adjustments, this is normal for a ready to fly heli, if your looking for a ready to fly straight out of the box you will be looking forever, they don’t exist. You need to learn how to setup your heli, if not drop out now, because you will crash and you will need to know how to repair and setup your heli.

RE: Hovering and YouTube.co
Good advice from wzak29.
And just to specify for you GenkiDesu, after the heli is properly tuned, it should not try and constantly pull in any one direction. If your trim helps but does not fix it always trying to pull toward one direction, then you need to adjust the length of the servo's rods. Lets say that it continues to pull to the left as you were saying and right trim only helps some. Make the left rod longer and make the right rod shorter (equal amounts) - Pop off the link (I circled the left link and made the right rod yellow, that is, the links are at the ends of the rods) where the arrow is and turn the end, since it's threaded on, to adjust the length of the rod.

500 lbs and wzak29,
Thanks so much for the help and pointing out details.
If you guys see it as the swashplate then I will go ahead and balance it...
I thought it might have been more then just the swashplate...
I am new but not about to give up...
Ididn'twant to troubleshoot something that was defective and not know it.
Again, thanks for replying....!
