Am I a geek?
This is my third bookmark and I check it almost daily to sort of plan my week (for flying purposes)

Does that make me a geek?[sm=71_71.gif]

I bought mine at one of the local airport's gift shop. You should be able to find one online if you don't have a local airport with a gift shop.

If you think you are a geek, because you check the weather "almost daily" then I don't want to know what could I be......
I have 5 different weather forecasting links on my desktop. I also have 4 different weather forecasting programs on my Droid phone. I wake up to the weather channel everyday, and eat breakfast watching the news. I check the weather several times a day specially when the skies start turning dark.
Well, I think I have to add that I'm a Field Engineer at a housing developing company. Last year we built 380 homes, and one community center. This year we have a target of 410 homes and 2 community centers. A rain day for me means lost production and delays in the schedule of home delivery.
Of course, I also use the information to plan my flying in the weekends.

RE: Am I a geek?
Wow we have our own weather station at our club field. Guess we could be geeks. LOL
Majority of the club members don't live close by to the field, so this helps guys determine if they want to load up and go to the field or not. This way the can verify if conditions are right for them instead of driving all the way there only to find out its blowing like a hurricane.
Aloha,
Les
