Simulation software for heli, which one?

Hi,

I am thinking to get a simulation software to improve my flying skill during winter time.
Can anyone suggest a simulation software which can do close to real fly situlation?
Thanks.

Real Flight is probably the most popular one. Make sure you set the physics level to max for helicopters. On G3.5 at least it's defaults one level lower which isn't very realistic.

Phoenix I think is supposed to be pretty good also and has more of the popular heli models from Align and Eflite.

After gone through those reviews from http://www.swashplate.co.uk/ehbg-v18/ch06.html
I tried the Phonix in local hobby shop, it looks good. I saw the Real Flight G5 as well, but I did have the chance to try it.
Has anyone compair the Phonix and new G5 BASIC?
Thanks.

Phoenix
Excellent realism, good price, runs well on a medium spec PC, free upgrades for life

Realflight
Realism okay but people that have switched to Phoenix are blown away by how much better Phoenix is, expensive, resource hog on your PC, you will need to pay to upgrade (that's what they have done up to now)

Seriously, Phoenix is way, way better all round.

Another vote for Phoenix. I use to like Reflex and throught RealFlight was good but Phoenix just blew me away. It has Esky helis, Eflite and the Align ones in there. Some nice planes too. I like the F-117 foam jet.

I went to local hobby shop again and they have similar opinion same as people who tried Phoenix.
Looks like the Phoenix is the way to go.
Thanks guys.
