While eating your cereal at the table you are holding two parts of the plane with the other hand while the epoxy drys.
Ionce even gave my wife some just-glued-together pieces of foam to hold. She was only watching TV anyway so it made her do something useful
Ithink Imight be addicted, I crashed my brand new FMSmustang after a 22 second maiden flight (Rx failure, dammit) and the new fuse, cowling, spinner and backplate are already on their way, as are the replacement electronics since the stock ones are seriously underpowered - everything together almost as expensive as the plane was ARF... It better flies good next time

Sometimes when I get done running and get the car particularly filthy I'll end up with a chassis in front of me and the rest of the car strewn about randomly on my bed.
Two hours later it's ready to go again.
Another sign you're addicted to RC is when you get a car you've never worked on before and instantly know how to field strip and reassemble it.

You know your addicted to RC when you have a separate storage unit for your RC stuff so the lexan bodies and kit boxes won't get crushed by anything.

when you spend more on fuel on model aircraft per month than you do on all the Full size cars and trucks in the household.
When the batteries in your vehicles are marginal and often need a jumpstart, but all your RC batteries are always charged and balanced.

When you are addicted to RC helis, you will do funny things.
Such as, you keep flying your heli after many times of crash. You reglue & restore the parts to fix your heli.
When your helis are crashed into pieces, you reserve the pieces instead of throwing away.
There are more funny things i didn't remember. It seems when you get addicted to RC heli, you will become a geek.
I crashed my first heli into ground in 60 seconds. Lol. I kid you not. I baught it from geartaker.com. It's 4-channel LCD rc heli. cool! huh? :P
But i didn't throw it away. I reglue it many times. Now i have 6 helis. All these 6 helis are restored by myself. So it's technicall not the origin ones.

I order my r/c stuff from overseas so it's best I wait to order big but sometimes I order a bit to big so I hide half my order for a few weeks (yep I'm addicted)... If I pick the right day to pull out my hidden purchases I don't even get one negative comment about spending too much money from my better half. It's amazing how little she knows about my hobby but she can always spot what is new on my truck, I guess she can smell the spent money or something...

you know your addicted when you take a 1 day a week part time job at a hobby shop just to get the employee discount so you can afford even more toys (yes i work one day a week at HTU just for the discount)
