The word "facetious" has all five vowels in order. Can anyone think of any other words that do that?

Well, thats the way it was told to me anyway. I never heard the ham fisted thing before, but there are maybe 3 or 4 theories in all. I buy the magazine theory because so many old timer hams have told me that one. But hey, I also here that MG was started in a small shop called Mac's Garage, but who know's. lol That one sound weird to me, as I always thought that British Lealand was the maunf, not some dude named Mac ! hahaha !
Actually the original MG was built in the Morris Garage... Leyland didn't get involved until many years later...

Left-handed knights would have had no troubles, except left-handed people could never become knights because it was assumed that they were descendants of the devil.

Ok, I guess it's up to us new guys to resurrect old threads. I've just spent the better part of the afternoon reading this one. Fun stuff and my favorite was, "Gravity is the force that turns falling objects into debris."

The best signature and avatar on this website. Hands down! I am old school, hard core Metallica. My teen son is rap. I often wonder if I raised the boy wrong. LOL. Although, he did recently purchase a vintage Ride The Lightning concert tee while on a shopping spree with grandma. I'm not sure where this notion came from, but don't think for a minute this wasn't one of my proudest moments as a father to date. Forget about the first step...the first word...being potty trained. My son bought a freaking Metallica, freaking Ride The freaking Lightning, freaking concert tee!!!
