Putting a humouristic twist on the truth in the world of flying
Just for a couple of laughs, how about putting an innocent, humouristic twist on the truthregarding aviation life, albeit RC or full scale. Let's keep itlight and "crispy".
Kick off with:
Despite the "8 hours between the bottle and throttle" rule, it's knownthat pilots can party hard....
I came across this pic of a parked plane and just wondered how late this pilot got home.... or how rough this party was.........

All those buddingaviation journalists out there, how about a nice caption for the attached pic that was sent to me? Lets keep the captions RC related....
I'l kick off "The revenge ofgliders being tossed off slopes without being switched on"or "This guy is having a crash course in aerodynamics"
Now its your turn what sayeth thee?......

Here we have the rare oportunity to witness the mating rituals of the R/C airplane. This endangered species rarely propogates offspring when they do mate. They mate so rarely that it is spectacular to get images of the event. Unfortunately the mating process can be so violent that it results in the death of both the male and the female.

1) "Go around! GO AROUND!!!"
2) as called from the flight line, "Dead stick".
3) "Your doing it wrong."

My favorite from the Meadow Lake Airport in Colorado Springs.
The sign in the first photo was photoshopped in.. You can see where the sign really sits in the 2nd shot..
