Model aviation requires more than two! There's a saying in French that's used to describe something that's ridiculously expensive: "it costs the skin off your nuts". So you'd better have a weekly supply of these when you start getting serious into R/C models! Tanks are expensive as well, but they require less balls per year as they're harder to crash...
