I hope they got the memo on that Jolly Rogers scheme above! That would be a nice "military" scheme option.

T-Bird UF use to be my favorite when the U-Flash schemes were a little on the weak side, but now that every scheme's really nice, IDK.. Guess the sport-jet kingpin's getting even stronger!

Quick question for everyone that is running saddle tanks. Are you running two vent lines out of the plane or are you using a T connector and running a single vent line out of the bottom. Thanks so much!!!!

I use a tee at saddle tank and run one vent line. Using one vent line you can use a taxi tank if you need one.

Andrew Bird was out abusing his uber fast UF today. Even though we cut the grass today, its still a great grass model in the UK winter. Gear pass call was a "birdie" moment

Woke up this morning with a lot of confidence and guts to start the most horrifying job in the word.....

This really is by far out the most frustrating and pain in the A.. job in the whole build as far as i'm concerned.
It's my third now and still crying out loud!!!
Really don't understand why they don't do this at the factory.....

Oh and on the previous ones was an kind of line on the canopy glass so you had an kinda of where to cut...
Guess what on this one.... None..... Aarrrggggggg..... &&*%$$#^%@#**(^()

But hey, it's on there now happy me, time for a beer

Roger on the Canopy install!

I used model car paint sprayed on the inside of the clear plastic -- before installing to the frame.

Because more likely of damage if its installed and more hassle to sort out.
No problem here, all local guys get me to do them...
The tint is RC Colours Smoke (car body tint)

Dave

Steve Roberts (little Stevie) was out with his Swiss UF today-still needs a cockpit! had a challenge for Birdies low pass record...

Very nice low passes!!

But what's with the full flap thing and the vertical fin pointing at the sky instead of the ground??

Thought you Brits had guts......

I did ask both for low inverted passes...Stevie was a lot lower than Birdie, but still a meter...
The slow passes are what sells this airframe, flying with your hair on fire is easy, creeping around at full flap shows what a brilliant airframe this is, 275mph difference is impressive!!

Birdy- "belly landings" are not low passes! So I still think that I'm winning.....

Let the challenge continue my friend ;-)

And yes, they are tampons. Thought you were coming so figured we would need them!

Lol - it might have been a flap touch and go but I flew away from that pass so no belly landing there There was enough moisture in the field it did kick up a good blast of water when I accelerated out! You should have been there on Saturday - was a good day.
