Another new scheme on the Ultra Flash for you Fly Navy Boys - price is a little more than the Chequer schemes and the same as the other military camo scheme. First kits are in production at the factory now.

Colin,
Not a bad scheme for a UF. Good colour contrast top/bottom. BUT, why the black canopy frame? Why is it CARF/you go to the effort to design a new scheme and then take, what looks like, short cuts with things like the canopy frame. Paint it blue to match and I think it'll look so much better. Surely you have the ability to ask them to do that?

Rob,
Two reasons really :-
1) Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. As it happens this scheme is not top of my list but it will appeal to a lot of people for contrast reasons and I can see why. The scheme incorporates the black colour as part of the design and therefore the idea of the black canopy frame "fits". You disagree with that and I'm sure there will be others that feel the same way as you as well as others that think it looks great as designed. To my eye at least, the blue canopy frame would look slightly odd against the black anti glare whereas it blends more with the larger meeting of colours further back.
2) It does make it easier to share parts across models. If you think of the spare part inventory you have to think about to cover every single model in every single colour scheme it adds up to a ridiculous amount. I know because I do it for our own Boomerang models. It can become a logistical nightmare. I think CARF have done a great job with all these new schemes - its no mean feat and I personally don't hold it against them to incorporate the smallest amount of flexibility in part sharing especially when it can justifiably fit the design.
For any customers ordering Ultra Flash packages in this scheme through my company I would have no problem in supplying the canopy frame paint matched to the blue using CARF's original colour at no extra cost or time penalty.

No worries, yes picture uploading seems to have ground to a halt on here. I use my own hosting to post images but there are many free photo hosting sites that you can upload your images to and then link to from your post on here. You will see a row of buttons above the box where you write your message - quote, link, colour etc. If you click on the image button it puts the image referencing code into your message and you just copy and paste the link from where your image is hosted. Im making it sound more complicated than it is !
