Who won what award? More specifically, who won the people's choice award?

had a great time and got to fly with some great people all day, hope to be back next year at the new field.

More good weather and great flying today. I had a good time today, too bad I couldn't fly both days.

Thanks to Chris and Scott for giving me a few minutes of Bandit club flight time. Composite Bandit and Bandit ARF. I've decided you can't go wrong with either. Kerry Roberson's one wheel down lakebed save after a flameout was a highlight.

Hopefully there will be some photos from today's flying.

Guys, great event... Thanks a lot to Monty and Chris to putting it together.

Jon, thanks a lot for the pictures, they are great
The F100 will be flying again soon. After getting home and stripping the plane appart, I realized there is a lot less damage than it seemed. Most of it is just cosmetic. Hey, it could have been a lot worse...

Hope we can have this event again at the new site

SO glad to get that good post crash report Jack. You did a great job getting her in without having much time to react or much vertical space to work with IMO. I would love to get another swing at the plate as far as taking some more photos and video of it. Let me know when you have her ready to go again and if you like, I will try to meet you out there again sometime.

Anybody have any media from Sunday they are going to post up here?

Jon

Sure.... I would love to do that.

If I had the parts I need, I think I could have it flying in 2 weeks (1 without paint). But with BITW coming up, it will take probably a month.

I'll keep you posted

Iwas the ugly guy in the FlyRCcap and red sleeveless Kauai rooster tshirt, wandering the flight line with a camera, a big lense and a lot of contained drool! (Ihope!)

WOW Chad and I sure had fun. Did not know we had event coverage. Chad was working the crowd and almost all of them were from out of town. He did not run into any from woodland. I guess the TV coverage worked. Good job. The pictures and video were outstanding. Dan Avilla

Just warming up for NEXT weekend really!

Dang, Imissed seeing that F4 fly. Ileft about 3 on Saturday. Did it go up after Ileft or on Sunday?

Ishould have asked some of you to give me a slow camera pass or two. Smoking hot passes are a little tough to nail!
