Great to have ya!!

My 2 cents would be to visit the club where Terry Nitsch(sp?) flies as there should be a fair amount of turbine flyers there and ask all the questions that you can.

Gene

ps. like he said - bring your checkbook

That's not the turbine whining you hear that's your S/O over the cost of your hobby.

This thread is 7 years old, and really should be updated to include todays new jet trainers, but the information is still relevant, it may answer some of your questions for now and help you focus on what the bigger questions are

Go to Hobby Center and ask John to hook you up with the jet guys. Practice pattern work and T&Gs!!!!.. fly faster stuff each time.. Save every penny you can... read the forums... go to several jet meets next year. Go to World Jet Masters next June at Museum...

The best way to learn is from the locals who are doing it.. There are about a dozen jet pilots around dayton.. MAny More if you go towards Cincy or Columbus.

Entry level jets run about 4-6,000 dollars, so be prepared... But its totally addicting!!!!!
