Default P-20 HT Modellbau Mirage

The first of our HT modellbau Mirage kits arrived for the P-20. Really impressed with the quality and detail, very light weight, good surface detail. Retract mounts are in for main gear, inlets are very long!

Dave nice looking kit, well made too from the looks of it - not sure about the 60's disco finish though

Strange. Anyone would have thought the post rather appropriate given all the interest in the P20 versus lack of variety of airframes for it.

Are you serious? I wouldn't have even known about this plane if he hadn't posted so go spend your time doing something important. I personally hope to hear more about it and see a build thread.

Rcu is what we monitor on a regular basis and not all manufacturers websites, when a dealer shows us a new product its only then do we go and look at the details of the product on the website. I am sure it would be difficult to buy direct from HT modellbau because of the language barrier, now if i need this mirage all i need to do is call Dave and keep my cc handy.

Chatty.

Hope there will be a build and flight report of this airplane.
Dave, what's the empty weight of the airframe?

Im the lucky owner of the airframe Dave very kindly acquired for me.

Ill start a build thread over the next couple of days complete with the weights of all the parts.

Regards
Frank

PS I think Dave was genuinely excited about the build quality and weight, in fact i think he would of happily kept it for himself!

Seriously......go find something else to do with your time. If you have nothing positive to say then don't post

Dave is only showing us all a new airframe for a relatively new turbine.....(for which little airframes exist)

The old 1 post member again.

Thanks very much for your advice but what I do with my time is of course up to me.

We will leave it to the mods to decide whether the first post is commercial or not

1 post doesn't mean I don't do much reading.....and I don't really want to read you slagging someone off for posting a new aircraft on RCU

Why are you being negative about Dave's post ? Do you own a model shop or something ?

Some one else who feels he can tell others how to spend their time. I simply reported the post to the mods as I was previously told to do by the mods.... They will of course decide

Dennis,

My understanding is any company can make a 'commerical' post - but only 1 a month if you don't advertise on RCU? Just a heads up in case this turns into a locked thread for all the wrong reasons.

Kit quality looks pretty good BTW!

Cheers,
Mark

Its pretty obvious from your previous posts on RCU that you have a "problem" with Dave

Keep it to yourself.........cause I'm sick of sifting your through "slagging off" posts

Look forward to seeing build thread and photos from the owner of the kit :-)

If you are someone who generally sits on the sidelines and reads and never contributes that is interesting. If you dont want to sift through then that is your problem and you should do as you wish. I will do the same and do as I wish. The internet and these forums are for those to express their views. Guess what I will express mine as I hope you also will do

Thanks for that Mark. Useful information. I simply reported to the mods as I was told to do on a previous thread. They will of course decide. What rather anoys me is that some users on these threads views are in my opinion commercially bias and some times they seek to put down the views of others like myself who have no commercial interest in the hobby apart from being a customer.

Good to see your input Sandor, being a Platinum Member and making classified ad's I am confident you know where it lies.
Maybe now Dennis might wind his neck in, but of course he still see's it as his better judgement.

Lastly, the HT is a cracking product. I remember Ali collecting his JP2008. So light even fully painted with gear. It is now has a proud owner in the Dominican Republic running a lambert
Dennis, yes it is too expensive.

Regards

Shaun

The post should be reported as pornographic. Many people are involuntarily turned on by sexy Mirages. This one is just to cute. Take it down.
Dave, before I looked away in shame I saw the nice wingtip profile, should be steady when approached before landing her.
