Default Jet Tronic Single Action Proportional Brake Valve

This is Jet Tronics 3/2 Way Pneumatic Valve. Can this valve control both retracts and brakes at the same time? I'm using Spring Air retracts.

This valve can control your brakes and your gear. But you will need two of them though. One for each function.

Thanks. Do you need to seal either of the exit air nipple if not using that function? IE: If using it for my retracts, do I seal off the brake air nipple?

There are three connections on the valve.
The first is your air supply, the second your valve output and the third is the air vent.
When the valve actuates you give air supply to the output, when you shut it down the air supply shuts off and the output bleeds its air through the vent.
So do not block anything.
(Small lesson in pneumatics, a 3/2 valve has 3 connections and 2 positions, that is how to interpret that.)

Regards, Bart.

If I may revive this thread. I recently pulled out my valve I purchased about 4 years ago. connected tubes to port 1 and 2. The third valve is open, and I notice it bleeds air like a cow. I have a picture of my valve. Can you guys tell me if I'm missing anything on it?

Hey FIFI! That's the best closeup pic of anything I've ever seen on rcu! You need to give pic taking lessons!
