AD Mirage
David,
I have built and flown several of these jets. In the 100`s on flights. It will take some time getting used to the profile and the landings but would say that flying this jet made me a better pilot. It is very demanding to see the profile and manage the power settings for landing. You can never be too hot with this jet on landings, bleeding speed is easy. Getting to slow will bite you every time. I lost my first mirage due to elevon flutter. I built a second one and made a mod which ended up being solid at ANY speed.
See pic of my first Mirage. I left the tips attached. The inboard section that has no hinge fluttered.

Vincent, I like the way you set the elevons up looks great. I almost did something similar to it but I decided to keep mine as close to scale as I can. I am going back to the wood horns and carbon fiber plate them. I also split my elevons up. I am also going to pick up a twin match box for the elevons so I can get perfect alignment. It was difficult to use a standard size servo in the wing tip section but I managed to do it with a frame up. Have you completed yours or are you still building it, You for sure do good work.
Malcom, See I told you I should have it done by September. Just hope I have the paint done too, I can see it taking me many hours for the scheme I am going to go with. I just got an Italery 1/72 scale model and I am going to blow the decals up to 1/6 scale, the decals look similar to the ones in your picture. BTW that Mirage is beauty that you posted.

David,
Those pics are a couple of years old. I sold off my Mirage earlier this year. I am stuck on F-16`s now!! Your split elevon is a good idea, i moved the control servo (8411s`) out in the middle of the wing like you did. The inner servo is in the spot per the plans. When Eric designed this kit he was using jpx engines and the elevon setup was fine. When the higher thrust motors came along there was flutter issues with that setup.BTW i always flew mine with the centerline tank and wing pylons installed, just put the rockets on for static.

Scratch built M2000
Hello,
I've always wondered where the CoG was located on this Mirage2000. Could u please give me a clue ? For example in a percentage of the maximum chord ...
Another question could u post a pix to give me an overview of the used wing profile ?
I may be willing to scratch build one, one day ...
Thanks.

Mirage 2000
well I finally found a solution to a fuel cell after debating the idea of a two liter coke bottle. I found a welchers 96 oz bottle at Publix and this is going to be my fuel cell of choice. I will have 100 oz of fuel which will give me adequate flight time. Just need to make some formers and modify the inlets to accommodate the tank. I also drew up a former for my Tam’s pipe and finished the pipe installation, not much left to do before Its ready for the maiden flight.
