I've been spending some weekends in Gulf Breeze and was wondering where you guys/gals in that area are flying at?

There's several clubs over in the Pensacola area. I'm in Mobile. We have a Toys for Tots fly in this saturday if your here.

Thanks Jon, i've flown with the guys in Mobile at the old land fill site but it's a little farther then i wanted to venture off.

I'm pretty sure some of the locals fly off Holly Field on the weekends.

might want to try and pm VF84sluggo, I think he lives in Gulf Breeze

great time of year to max chill up there, be sure to swing through the Naval Aviation Museum if you can't find anyone to fly with.

Last I knew the NOLF's were shut down to flying for awhile..

Thanks Buck, i talked to Randy (VF84sluggo) last night about Holly, he said they are hit and miss but still able to fly there but the Navy doesn't let them know till late in the week if it's going to be available or not.

I can't even count the number of times i've been to the museum, drop by there every time we go see the Angels fly and last weekend just happened to be another of those times

looks like i won't be back down there till after Thanksgiving but will drop by Holly and Fritz when i am.

right on!! glad you were able to get in touch with one of the locals.

I didn't even notice your location until you mentioned you'd been to the museum about a zillion times!!! LOL that place never gets old and I look forward to doing a dedicated road trip down there just to spend the day looking at all the old stuff and chattin' it up with some great American Heroes.

when you make that trip swing by here, we've got a pretty good museum of Army aircraft.
